Yes you can increase the HP for a 60000 by putting the carb from a bigger engine that's how Briggs did a 2 hp to 2 1/2 HP actually...... The 60000 had a vacu jet carb and the bigger 8 and 9 series had a pulsa jet carb.........

If you can come up with any numbers, this might be helpful, or you can ( lonnnng process ) check through these parts manuals and try to match it up ..... folks out there don't realize why we ask for an engine's identification number's, there's so many models of the same basic engine and the difference's although sometimes subtle, means all the difference in supplying the correct info.
