Deck engage cable breaks while mowing

I just bought a 2019 Yard Machine 42’’ cut lawn mower and I mowed my yard one time and the deck engage cable has broken twice, both times at the spring. Any ideas as to why it would be doing that? It’s model # 13AB775S000

Wrong cable
Wrong spring
Cable anchored in the wrong place
Wear in the tension arm allowing the deck pulley to foul on the engagement cable
Cable routed over the belt rather than under it or visa versa
They are the common ones .
