Cylinder blemish?

Hello All,
Got a second hand Husqvarna model YTH24V54LS Riding Mower, check out the cylinder wall and piston blemishes. Sorry, not sure if the blemish location in the cylinder. Engine is a Briggs and Stratton
in the #1 cylinder, taken with a bore scope camera through the spark plug hole.
Was wondering:
1. is that a scratch or crack.
2. not sure what that brown spot is.
Any input will be helpful!

The first picture is not really a scratch it is the discoloration of the cylinder wall that lines up with the ring gap. The brown spot may just be oil sitting on top of the piston.

Thanks for the quick reply!
Also found about 6-8 crankcase bolts loose. The previous owner said it was leaking oil past the shaft seal,
so oil consumption of some kind . . .
I think it was leaking past the oil pan . . . time will tell.
