Cub Cadet XT1 LT46. Parking Brake Lever Wont Engage

The rod is hooked up but when I push in parking brake and down on the set lever under steering wheel, the brake doesnt stay in and the lever wont stay down. I dont feel it trying to grab either. Thoughts?
 
Nevermind. I got it. I just touched some doohickey thingamabob and it works now.
