I have a mower that I bought new about 4 years ago this summer. It has been of good service until last fall. I was out cutting grass and decided to take a break from the heat, about 45 miniutes later was to resume when my mower wouldnt start. I then started checking for the problem. I was getting fire to the battery but the starter seemed to be dragging, and throwing sparks, I then took the starter off and went to have it checked. T mechanic told me the starter needed rebuilt. He rebuilt it and I put it back on, Im still seenig sparks and it makes a noise like the starter is not disengaging. Does anyone know what could be causing this?
