Cub Cadet PTO keeps shutting off

Good morning!


I have a problem with the PTO shutting off within a few seconds. It seems to stay on if I don’t drive, however if I drive it shuts off. I have replaced the ignition switch and still no luck. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I believe it’s model 2045. I can confirm if need be.

First guess would be the reverse switch has come loose & it is cutting out because the MIR cut out is being activated.
Got a dozen or so 2000 series garden tractors in the service run and the MIR switch on all of them has given me endless grief .
From memory it is under the dash, right on the floor in an impossible pace to get to.
 
I would look also at the voltage output of the charging system.
And if the pto clutch is adjustable, you might adjust the clearances.
