There have been a lot of different company's that have produced these Electric ZTR and Riding mowers. None have never made it and the reason is there not a cost effective way of cutting ones lawn. There just to expensive for what they are and what they will do. Most homeowner's who are going to buy an electric are going to buy cheap and get a push to do their 4 or 5000 sq.ft. lawn, not 4 to 6000 dollars for a ZTR. Thing is and I believe they, the company's use them as a advertisement or sales gimmick to draw to people to there place of business so they end up buying something else.

Yeah I know and that's my point. The Normal Homeowner is only looking at maybe half an acre of land and not even that if you remove the 3000 sq. ft. area of house and garage so to spend that amount of money on an electric ZTR when a good $400 self propelled will do what needs to be done is something they just aren't going to do.

p.s. that's power to the ground, to the blades - mower is not an elevctric car or bike, there is no coasting, sitting in the trafic, gliding, etc - mower does hard work done continuesly, power take-off directly to the blades, 3600 rpm (or continuos, constant torque output at 18500 fpm blade tip speed); - this is all a continuouse work (load) - open cut, 20% for turns and overlaps as industry standard for performance mesurement
