Craftsman YT 3000?

For a cheaper rider are these any good?

One on Craigslist for $800 that the guy says he bought 10/23/12.

Single cylinder worried me, but my 15 year old MTD has about had it.

Tom, I guess you asked the guy why selling ,for whatever value that may be. I bought a 2004 DYT 4000, 48" Intek 24 V twin. It has been good except for the engine which acted up (as in came apart) after a couple years. But the rider has been good since I fixed the problem. I have no experience with the BS single. I know people on this forum do and they will respond. If you know a good dealer see if he'll check it over if the seller will allow it.
