Craftsman LT2000 Kohler SV590 Crankshaft

Kohler discontinued any parts associated with the crankshaft.

I have a SV590-0004 engine the spun the bearing/sleeve on the balancer. Can anyone point me to possibly find new balancers and/or crankshaft? Used or new is fine.

It's a shame to throw out the tractor for a simple fix.

I have a repair job with the same thing, bottom spun bearing, I'm building it up with brass brazing rod, and then will mill it, I need to heat the cast up one more time , so I can get a smooth layer around it, (with no holidays) then mill it, and put groves for oil ports, get back to me to see how I'm doing on this. Do You still have the motor? I know it's over a year later, and nobody has posted to your question,, thanks Matt
