Repairs craftsman lawn tractor model 917252541

hi folks
my first time here. I need some information on brakes and clutch for my 917252541 model# craftsman
mower mower given to me and runs good but moves very slowly. I cant find any info on sears direct about parts or repair

well if it moves slowly, is it the motion drive belt?

I would check the following. Motion drive belt, is it worn, cracked, or stretched. Tensioner pulley, does it wobble, (bad) pull the belt tight when you release the brake, (it should). Return spring, is it there and working.

:smile: Follow the advice given by Rivets. Plus check the brake setting it may be dragging or the pads could be froze to the caliper. Don B.
