Craftsman kills

Craftsman 18.5 B&S 42" mower, starts but when I take off the brake it kills. Any help is appreciated

Normally when a rider dies when releasing the brake/clutch it is do to a problem with the seat switch circuit. Could be the switch, or something associated with the wiring for that switch. So riders have a relay in the wiring that if it goes bad will cause the same symptoms.
