Craftsman DLT3000 Clutch Cable

Hey Everyone I have a Craftsman DLT3000 that I had to replace the clutch engagement cable on. When Installing the new cable, I am unable to get it to have the proper tension on it to engage the deck. I have routed the cable any which way I can see with no luck. I am sure it is just an oversight but does any one have any advice? All the pullies are working properly on the deck. Thanks

From the top we need the model number off the ID and the serial some times helps
Then we need the part number of the new cable
There are a lot of cables that look very similar but they will not interchange .

Chances are good you installed the incorrect size (length).
