Up date , mower was over reved and now governor has no push. Is it a loose connection or a bad governor?

It has no push from the governor arm. I have to manually hold the governor to idle the motor.

Can you tell if the shaft is tight to the lever, or is it loose at that connection? :smile:KennyV

if your linkage and spring and lever are ok.....your in trouble...it probably threw a governor weight or damaged the spool....
