Crafstman T110 Transaxle shaft pulls out

Well StarTech I thought it was good information to have, regardless what his issue was. Others with drive issues could read this thread and maybe my info could help.
Don't be so quick to judge others, Mr Royalty.

I wasn't judging other than you should had read his 1st post and know wasn't a wheel axle key but an input shaft problem. BTW the MTD single speed transaxle doesn't use axle keys. They use a Double D [double flats]. Other transaxles can use a long square key which does get lost if you don't pay attention when removing and installing the rims.

You just can't be just be throwing things out just to hear key clicks. Please look things up first before replying. As a professional I do hold others to a higher standard, just in my nature.

Item 10 is the snap ring.

And do you need a repair guide for the transaxle itself?
I have the same issue with mine, same year and model. Could I hit you up for the repair guide for the transaxle itself? I'm about to order #10, but from the other posts I read, do I need to also order #4, #8, and #9 or are they inside the transaxle? Y'all are awesome for what ya do, thanks so much in advance.

Well that's fine this is a MTD single speed transaxle.

That shaft looks like it still has the SCE108 needle bearing on it. maybe just my eyes but it appears the bearing has been spinning in the housing. If so then the housing has had it. If it is just the shaft then it also needs replacing along with the two needle bearings.

Ah boy, now this makes total sense to me:

So you're spot on, that looks like a wobble, been wobbling it would appear for quite some time to wobble itself from a circle to an oval . Bought this off my neighbor who got divorced, I don't even know how to look for an issue like that during a purchase. Welp, it worked when I tried it out and half the front lawn. That entire transaxle needs to be replaced? Or, yeah. Shame y'all aren't in Tallahassee, Florida! I'll just have it done right and have the rest of the machine looked over while I'm at it. Thank you for all the help, I greatly appreciate it!

Its looks the 919-04187A MTD Upper Housing Assembly is currently NLA so the only recourse is to find a good use transaxle or a complete new transaxle.

There should be plenty of use units out there.
