I am a proud owner of the above mentioned Scag mower that no longer has the serial numbers on the unit or the motor. I am trying to find a carb kit for the Nikki carb on the 21 hp Kawasaki motor. Scag or Kawasaki dealers can't help me without a serial number and calling the Kawasaki manufacturer # is a joke. The only # I have is on the carb itself and I have tried looking under Nikki with no luck. Any ideas on how to locate a carb kit. Also, does anyone know if bench testing the fuel cut off valve with a battery should result in any audible noise or movement of the plunger.
