Carb gas inlet completely plugged

Huskee riding mower - gas reaching the carb but the flow stops at the nipple into the carb. Tried blowing into it w a hose totally closed off. Tried spraying carb cleaner in w red tube all comes straight back out.

Any ideas? Prefer not to rebuild carb.

Most likely carb needs a good cleaning with it sitting for so long

Pull the carb off & pull it apart
It will probably be corroded &/or varnished up inside
Varnish builds up on the float needle causing it to stick closed .

Then the other option is to replace the carburetor.

The last 4P90 I worked on the repair kit didn't fix the carburetor, actually made the problem worst. Then I ordered a replacement OEM carburetor which was defective. The OEM replacement for the defective one finally solved the problem.
