Broken Leaf Spring on Trailer

This morning I found out my leaf spring broke. The trailer is a little over a year old. Only used 7 months a year. Very very ruff roads around here. Is this kind of breakdown normal or is this trailer just cheap?

It is a Gator trailer.

What broke, the actual leaf springs or one of the hangers? Spring steel s pretty tough stuff. Pictures would help a lot.

Well it looks like the leaves are fine but the one holding to the frame broke off (The top leaf. Before it curves). Trailer is at the shop waiting to get fixed. Can't get pictures. That thick piece snapped clean. Can't believe it. Ride was ruff as hell all day.

Hopefully the trailer will be covered by a warranty. Sounds like bad metal in the spring.

Don't know about warranty, but I will try my best to get it covered by the warranty.
