Primer bulb wont squirt gas through the emulsion tube. New bulb, double gasket, tightened bolts down firm not too tight blew brake cleaner through hole in the bulb all the way through the carb as it forces gas through the tube. Pulled new bulb out cleaned all surfaces but the screen inside isnt there. Do I need it and why? Thanks in advance great site!!!!!

My experience is that double gaskets simply don't work most times. Here I make a wedge gasket using two gasket to apply extra pressure only where it is need. The gasket next the air filter base will have impression of the areas of contact and non contact. the non contact is where you want more pressure.
