I am thinking about building a modified version of the old time Briggs Flyer to use in parades and the like to advertise my shop. Have any of you built one?
Never heard of a Briggs Flyer so I googled it. Sure don't look like much. Looks like a sheet of plywood with bicycle wheels, seats, steering wheel, with a engine that pushes it. Sure wouldn't pass safety standards of today's cars
Yes & that is what made me believe it has some merit...
If you ever worked on a Model T... You will notice right off, it is NOT that user friendly...
not until you up grade it to something like this.... (see picture)... By the way it's for sale.. A Very well done project, it has been a 30 year perfectionist car, a friend of mine and myself did it... :smile:KennyV
The Briggs flyer looks awesome. I would like to rebuilt. It looks sort of like a go cart. It also looks like it would get 30 to 60mpg. I think you have lit a fire on this end of the world wide web. If you build it first send me some plans.
