briggs choke cable to non electronic automatic choke swap

Well here is a list of possible items.

Choke link 796229
Choke return spring 799771
And one the following brackets 796226, 798915, or 798916 Just don't which of the three you need.

Also you may need to change out the choke shaft if it don't the return spring already.

My plan was to use a choke matic carb plus whatever I need to use to delete the choke cable feature on the vtwin.

Just be aware that the 44R877 auto choke carburetor uses a completely different return spring setup as uses an air vane to crack open the choke once the engine starts. Also it uses a different intake manifold setup as one end of the choke return spring is attach to the intake manifold and not the carburetor.

Im not using parts from 44r877. Im using the other engine and deleting the choke cable feature.

One good note here and that the 44R intake will also work for the manual choke models and is cheaper. I know this for sure as I installed one last year on a manual choke engine.

I dont have the 44r engine. PO didnt give me the blown 44r engine. Im using a 407777 0124 b5 engine.

I dont want the choke cable. I want bypass it the other way without using a choke cable
You mean by the throttle control being all the way past fast? The choke is usually operated by a wire coming off the speed control arm that only activates when past full throttle.
You may have to get a different control plate and the right activator wire.
