My lawnmower backfired and quit running. It is only 3 years old. I replaced the magneto coil and the carburetor. I have great spark, (I used a tester). Even if I spray starting fluid in the carb, or behind the plug, nothing!
My lawnmower backfired and quit running. It is only 3 years old. I replaced the magneto coil and the carburetor. I have great spark, (I used a tester). Even if I spray starting fluid in the carb, or behind the plug, nothing!
With good spark, and fuel, that just leaves either compression problems, or timing issues like a sheared flywheel key. Also may want to check the intake pipe. There has been cases where they have cracked.
