Correct. The cylinder head will come with a head gasket and all internal parts. Should be somewhere around $150.

Obviously there is a design problem with this engine.

This past spring, I had a Craftsman rider with the same problem come to my shop. I replaced both push rods, started it and it threw a rod in less than five seconds! When I tore down the engine, I found that there were two other push rods in the pan. The steel rod had made contact with the camshaft, bending it and cracking the camshaft bushing housings on both ends. Obtained a replacement engine from jackssmallengine and all is fine now. Any one who needs parts can pm me, I have both head assemblies, carb, flywheel and both pistons along with all of the plastic parts.

I need an engine drive double pulley with a 1X1/8" bore do you have one you might sell?

why does Briggs use aluminum push rods? Do you know of any other manufacturer that uses them?
