ILENGINE Lawn Royalty Jan 18, 2018 #2 My first thought would be the belt is rubbing something it shouldn't. Look at the belt and see if it appears damaged on the outside or inside, and does it appear to be cut. also trying to use non JD belts can cause issues as well.
