T Twinkle Well-Known Member Oct 25, 2010 #2 The best thing to do is to prune the infected branches asap. I always cut to around a foot (12 inches) below the infected part. Oh and don't forget that your shears need to be cleaned/sterilised between cuts to avoid spreading the problem.

A AndyMan Well-Known Member Oct 27, 2010 #3 I'm thinking of taking out the whole row of trees. Most of the branches are infected, and I'm afraid the tree wouldn't survive such a drastic pruning. What other trees can blight infect?
