Blade belt tension

I have an X-One model 930529. Just wondering how tight to go on the blade belt. I see that it has a spring attached to a chain link. Is there a number of links you go or is it just by sight or feel?

You use a tape measure.

Spring may be in a different location but all deck sizes it the same measurement.
