Big Dog to Cub Cadet Engine swap

I have a Big Dog Alpha 52" with a bad deck. Said irrepairble. Found a Cub Cadet with a similar Kawasaki engine. Big Dog a zero turn, Cub Cadet a lawn tractor. Will I be able to swap engines from the Big Dod to the Cub Cadet, and what would be the obstacles involved?

If it is a similar engine, should not be an issue. The bolt pattern is the same. By similar, do you mean "same"? Like both have an FX691V, for example?

This I do not know yet. The Cub Cadet is a good piece away, the owner is a little dim when it comes to mechanical things (after all, he let his engine blow up;) but I'll find out. This is the information from my mower's tags:
Chassis:
Mod:WDP350PAAB4
Ser: F42101946
Engine:
Mod: 932913
Ser: 14060627

The engine numbers you listed are actually the Big Dog model and serial. The Kawasaki engine numbers are on a white label on the fan housing.

That is a BS24R spec. If the Cub Cadet also has the FR691V, it would be the same.
As long as it is a FR or FS651, 691 or 730 and has a 1" diameter by 3-5/32" length crankshaft, you're good. FX would be fine as well, but the starter will be different.

FR's can come with 1.125" PTO's
Only know that because I got caught out the first time I ordered a replacement engine and of course the shaft size was wrong .
