best mower in the $2000 range?

will be shopping for a new riding mower in the next week or so. What is the best quality for my money in the $2000 range? Might be able to stretch it to $2300. Needs to be at least 42 inch cut,preferably 48 or 52 would be nice,but the 52's I have seen are out of my price range. I am not brand loyal,just looking for the best bang for my buck that will last a long time. Would also like to be able to add attachments like snow plows,etc. Thanks for any thoughts!!
 
3rd week of August, Toro Dealers usually have their year end sales. You can really cut a nice deal, I did back in 2014.
