Ric,
Thanks for your perspective. Truly appreciated. I agree, just eager to get out there and work for myself. I think I will be patient and buy my equipment once

Buying all your equipment once is best. If you can do that, that would be great. I know people say not to finance because you start out in the hole but when you can do it at 0% interest it's almost like paying cash. I just purchased my ZM using the 0% thing and yes my payments are $142 a month but the mower is making me 1500 to 2000 a month so the 142 a month becomes a minimum payment. I'll have the mower payed off within a year. I think it's a Gravely dealer down in the Tampa area that's offering those package deals and I believe there a 0% financing thing.

those are great mowers, and the 755 is echo is a pretty good backpack blower. not sure I'd start up financing hand tools, if can afford it I'd pay cash for those, and just finance the mower. I don't like to finance anything, but if you're positive you can make it, in a dog eat dog business with new hurdles everyday, then do whatever you think is right for you. I'd buy the Scag everyday if given the choice, it's a great machine very heavy built and will bring more resale with average wear and tear then most popular commercial mowers with similar features. I've only had Dixie choppers and just recently started to switch my mowers to Scag and I'm pretty pleased with their performance.
