Wrenches cause explosions and , i.ve seen 2 men lead a welder to a water hydrant with acidized eyes . i've seen lucky farmers use pliers to check battery condition by how many sparks when the the 2 handle tips touch the posts .So go ahead and screw around with bolts and nuts while i remove or connect 2 cables in 10 seconds .Come on guys used some sense if you ever had any. I use aluminum clad screws, nuts, and washers so they are resistance to the sulfuric acid which btw sulfuric acid loves water.
Apparently some of you just don't understand how dangerous an exploding battery is. Screws, nuts, and washer are cheap compare to a lifetime of pain if you survive the explosion.
I just supposed this site was not just for mower shops but the general public owner also . No , shops won't want to attach cables with C clamps but we general mower operators may .
