I was as the dealer other day and notice that all the mowers will blow out some pretty heavy smoke on start up. Maybe its the break in oil or the way the choke works on their engines. They soon stopped right after start up, so I guess its okay.

Bad Boy uses the same engines as most anyone else. There is a simple explanation for it and I wouldn't let that effect my decision. I've been running a Bad Boy lightening Z for about 8 years with no problems whatsoever. They make very reliable and durable machines.
