Bad Boy Maverick HD right tank not flowing

Well according to IPL for that 2023 model [lookup by the serial number given] the label is correct and when I look at the fuel tank setup they don't even list a part number for item 171 [fuel valve and hoses].

Which is the 3 way valve but the parts diagram shows the label for the 2 way valve

And more interesting is the left tank is top draw and the right tank is bottom draw, so no way to draw from both tanks with a single on/off valve

Reading this thread and wondering... Do some models really come with a 3-way valve that the user has to change to switch tanks? On my 2021 Rogue it has two tanks but they seem linked because fuel is consumed from both and I don't have to do anything. Wouldn't it make more sense that there are hoses from both tanks to a T and then the resulting line feeds to a simple fuel shut-off valve? It would seem to be a pain in the *** for the user to have to run one tank dry and then manually flip a valve to start using from the other tank.

Most, if not all, commercial mowers have a 3 way fuel valve. The Bad Boy Maverick HD is one step below what is considered a true commercial mower. In fact, it has Hydro-Gear ZT-3400 transaxles. You will find the ZT-3400 on many entry level commercial mowers. Most mowers with two tanks have 3 way valves.

It is so you have reserved fuel if you run out on the back 40 and it give a hint you are low on fuel. Besides what if you bust one of the tanks with them feeding at same time you are dead in the water.

I don't know. The Rogue is the only mower I've had with two tanks and mine are linked. Works great for me. As for the 'bust one of the tanks' problem... well, almost every other piece of equipment out there only has a single tank so that seems like a pretty unlikely situation to consider twin tanks and a 3-way valve a benefit.

So what do you do, mow until you run out of fuel and then switch the valve and start it back up? How does your fuel gauge work then? Or are there individual gauges for each tank?
