Ariens mower company has been acquired by Yanmar

Who knows what the end result will actually look like.
My local Gravely dealer has been top notch over the years. The Potter family business goes back a long way. They began business back in the 1960s as a Harley Davidson and Club Car business. They later took on Gravely and Ariens. In my area, I see a lot of Gravely zero turns on landscaper's trailers.
 
Just adds more confusion to an already confusing list of root manufactures.

Does this that mean Gravely is too now part of Yanmar or did they split up the company? As this will cause confusion as Ariens and Gravely uses the same PNs. Changing prefixes of PNs here will be a nightmare. That is 1000's PNs that would need to be sorted and changed. I am kinda lucky there as I have only manually entered 500+ PNs for Gravely/Ariens.

And another question is Gravely is to continue selling Ariens parts or do I need to find a new source of those parts?
 
How long do you think it will take for Yanmar to take over control of Ariens and then with time push all of Ariens controls and office people out the door. I believe we have seen this happen more than once when a family business sells out to other businesses. Before you know it the purchasing business takes over total control.

Since Gravely is part of the Ariens Company, Gravely was also part of the sale
