For me, it is vacuum cleaners!

I currently have three:

1998 Hoover Turbo Power 2 1000W
2006 JMB SC1056 1400W
2004 Panasonic E-M8011 1800W

And all are in perfect working condition, and get regular use...

So, what are your addictions ?

I used to be addicted to cars, but I'm much better now.

Kids - the cure for what addicts you.

 I probably would be addicted to cars, if I didn't have my beloved Ford Fiesta!

I have two Kirbys, that I rescued from going to the junk heap - and made one good-as-new Kirby!

The one I did the most work to is a G4, and the other is a G5 that I couldn't save - ended up being parts for the other one, till I got parts from a vac shop (the RIGHT parts)

My other is my guitar - I gave it up for about 5 years, because I was getting bored with it....but I found a new song I just HAVE to learn - and just broke out my Strat today......But my right hand is weak - due to too much typing standing up. I'll forgo any further post number accolades to learn "I'm Alright" by Neal Zaza.....gotta get my fingers strong again....

I'd be interested in knowing your in depth opinion of that vehicle and how long you have owned it. I currently own a ford F-150 (truck)and have owned several other Ford vehicles. I have owned Mazda's as well, a ford partner for decades, and was very happy with those purchases.

I might very well be....... You can PM me....and I promise, no nastygrams this time....

That'd be like a G2 or something..........I polished mine at the shop, and it's perfect......I'll post a pic someday....(the lady has the nozzle on it right now, so it's rather ugly...)

I was a died-in-the-wool Ford fan forever......until I bought my first car from a dealer - 1995 Mercury Cougar XR7 with a 4.6L OHC engine (in 1997).......it was the lousiest POS I EVER bought......soured me on Ford ever since.....

The front end needed a yearly $600 rebuild, the electro-transmission was a lousy design, as was the plastic intake on the early 4.6L.........just a terrible car. But, to its credit, it was a GREAT road car.......

They have made some lemons the 4.2l aerostar was probably the worst or most recent.
The kirby is yours if you'll pay the shipping. I'll send some photos if you like. I'll need an email address.

I sent you a nastygram - er, PM....

YouTube - funtwo Live - 'Summer' from Vivaldi's The Four Seasons.

No, I can play the guitar like he did on that cover of Zaza.....and that's the limits.....for now...

Funtwo did the best cover of "I'm alright" I've heard yet - he doesn't get too fancy. It's a melodic song, like what I write.......

Mine is a 1966 Mustang Fastback GT (289 of course). Oh, I have a guitar haven't touched it in years. Probably because I was never any good. Well you can't be good at everything, right. I'm also into woodworking. I have a shop devoted to that too.

I haven't touched my guitar in 5 years....but I want to learn this song bad enough....like when I learned the intro solo to Guns -n- Roses "Sweet Child O' Mine" by ear....played it hundreds of times, never tired of it......and after five years, still was able to rip it right off the neck...

I'm addicted to internet forums.

My name is Stan, and I have a problem. I have just joined my 14th forum. So far, it's a good one and I'm enjoying it. Although how much fun can you have when you have 14 monkeys on your back.

Well, this much;

1 Motorcycles. Specifically Single overhead cammed, 4 cylinder Honda's from the 70s. (SOHC4.net)
2 Wooden Boats. (Woodenboat.com)
3 Astro van Forum (Astrosafari.com)
4 Ham radio (3 actually. QRZ.com, Hamsexy.com, and Batboard.com(that one is for Motorola)
5 Chevrolet (chevroletforum.com)
6 Electric vehicles ( I forget the actual address of this one. Something like EV)
7 Small computing devices, from smartphones to small laptops. I joined for netbooks. (Pocketables.net)
8 Old Woodworking Machines. (OWWM.org)
9 Bass. Devoted to electric bass guitars and stand up double basses. (talkbass.com)
10 R/C boats (jrbdc.com)
11 A private forum I actually moderate for The Alexandria Seaport Foundation, where I volunteer. Check us out at alexandriaseaport.org
12 And lastly some group of yahoos devoted to, of all things, lawn mowers.

Help me before I "forum" again.

That's awesome - good on ya. I always loan my tools out, not questions asked. Always glad to help someone out.

I don't mind loaning out tools, but I do have a few rules. Return it as soon as you are done and you break it you replace it.

My rules are roughly the same, with the difference of if you break it, I break you...
