Already thinking about leaf cleanup

We are running several pieces of Echo equipment right now. The 225 is a fine little lightweight trimmer. It is definitely on the low side of power however if you need to do any kind of heavy weed eating. We love the 280 but have not had great success so far with keeping ours running. The 266 does a good job also. The power is fair for heavy weed eating.

Why fix a design when it works? I have an Echo trimmer for my backup that's from 1987. Still with the orginal spark plug, etc.

Why fix or change a design when it works ???...OK from now on I want you to leave those Honda Mowers you think so much of in the garage at home and buy two 18 or 20" Push REEL lawn mowers, without motors from Home depot to use for you business :laughing: Hey the design works perfectly so why change when it works.

The spec's say different, Echo specifications say dry weight on the 225 is 12lbs and Stihl specifications say the FS 90 is 11.7 and the FS 100 is 10.8 lbs. You can look it up for yourself.
 
I have an FS 70 that one of my guys will fight you over and an Echo 280 that the other one will fight you over.

Personally I like an Echo 266 better. I had one guy who was the same way about my 225. Crazy how everybody had a preference.

I did look it up also. Hard to believe. Maybe it is because I have a KM? Heavier because of that kombi attachment?

That's why I wont use a Km. The KM90 with a trimmer attachments is almost 14lbs. To heavy to use for full time business.

Yeah, if you really want to see them fight Let them use the FS 100RX at 10.8 lbs and if you really want light and your into 2 stroke get the FS 94 and remove the shroud and your talking about a trimmer with a 24.1 cc engine that's like 9 lbs.
