Thank you for that info. I was not aware of that.Hydrogear has always told their dealers such as myself that a pump failure will not damage a wheel motor, but a wheel motor failure will eat the pump. But something to keep in mind is would be hard to get the wheel motor properly flushed of debris from a previous pump failure to prevent another pump failure.
I'm looking. Two strikes so far.And if you are able to spec that oil seal please let me know as I need to save to as note here in the service manual for later reference.
Hydro Gear is afraid we will know and not buy the complete seal kit when we only need one seal.
If your concern is about 3-4 drops of oil leaking on the floor each night, put a piece of cardboard on the floor and run it. Not uncommon for a hydro pump or drive motor (less common), to leak. Just keep an eye on hydraulic oil and top off as needed.I'm looking. Two strikes so far.
