After the storm

It is always hard after a huge storm cleaning up. It is hard working picking up debris and the like, we are responsible for dealing with our own, is it that way where you live?

Yes ^_^ Government takes out fallen trees to let cars run through the roads. They also make sure electricity is back. But the others, each one cleans his own yard.

I understand why people are responsible for their own yards but it is nice if the neighbors get together and help out. Especially for older people or those who aren't able to do it, for one reason or another.

The last storm we had my dad took his truck, trailer and saw and went to help the seniors clean up the debris on their yard, they paid for the gas and he did the work, I think that is fair.
