I agree with everything you said Carscw and that's the problem, nobody knows the facts.

That is the problem the people who put it in place and voted it in that are in Washington DC did not read it.

What is this crap with a letter? Why would you get a letter? I've been with Blue cross Blue Shield for years.

Well I hate these menu option places so my wife is going to call the rest of the places later I only need me and my wife because Washington state offers health care to kids untill they are 18 unless you make over 60k a year in the household the best to we have never paid a dime for our kids to go to any doctor.

Got one quote from a local place 300 a month after subsidys with a 200 a month tax credit at tax return time so I would get 2/3 of my money back.

And I'm frustrated because I don't want healthcare I go to the doctor once a year ... Maybe I do not take medication even if its prescribed except maybe antibiotics if something serious happens. I have never taken anything stronger than I b profin. I do not want healthcare because.for me personally it is just another pointless bill... Someone else making a profit off of my hard work that's all and if it does not go away like I hope I will be a good law abiding citizen because I would rather stay in America over moving to Canada

We are now trillions of dollars in debt as a nation because of all the wars were involved in doesn't have anything to do much with MediCare and Medicaid. I think you'll find most people will end up saving over half the price on there health care that they were paying. When you stop and think about it and the price of health care what it is, and now it will be based on your income it means lower income people who couldn't afford insurance will be getting insurance for almost nothing. If givin a chance you'll find the Affordable Health Care" will work and be beneficial to most people.

That is what I said. Other things.

I don't know about where y'all live but the economy here revolves around welfare disability checks and food stamps. There are a lot more here who draw government assistance than don't.

We have too as well as the other people I mentioned. Everybody's BC insurance is supposed to go up dramatically from what we are hearing. I personally know several that have gotten a letter in the last two weeks saying so. Least I have heard was 60%. Several more over 100% increase. All are saying deductibles went up and coverage went down from what I am understanding as well.

The thing is your 586$ insurance payment is directly from the Insurance company and before the government subsidy's, if you apply through Affordable health care there subsidy's will cut that payment and you'll be paying a lot less than you are now. Exotion said the same thing when he got his quote, he was quoted from the insurance company 400$ a month and was all upset about the price after he went back and talked to the Insurance company and asked about the subsidy's his quote dropped to 225$ a month for him and his wife look at some his postings in thread. The thing is if you don't ask for the subsidy the Insurance company isn't going to offer it, there not stupid.

I'm just wondering where the days went when a man had to stand on his own two feet. If he wanted a steady income, insurance and benefits he went and got a job that had those things. Whether that meant working day and night to provide for his family or having a good enough job to where he can just work 40 hours a week. It's becoming a plague that people are relying on the government for their livelihood and don't even own a pair of work boots. I understand that some people on disability really need it. And I don't mind my tax dollars going toward someone who is paralyzed or maybe mentally retarded. But if you're overweight or have social anxiety I say get over it. That's just a excuse not to work. So just like every other government assistance program out there this one is going to hurt us more than help us. I see why some people don't even look for a job. Why would they? There're getting babied by the government why grow up and be a real man and take care of your wife and kids on your own. Anyway I have about 100 thoughts going through my mind about government programs and none of them good.

Those days went away a long time ago. I don't think it's possible for a man to work a forty hour week and support his family anymore because a guy doesn't have that opportunity anymore at least not with a living wage. Day was you could go buy a new truck for maybe 10K back when but not any more. The Ford F-150 XLT with a 5.0 is costing 45K by the time there through with the add on and taxes and it's the same with everything. The thing is if you think we have it bad, just think about your kids your grand kids, they don't stand a chance.

Those days are gone because there are too few that WILL work. If a company came to our area Monday and said they needed 200 workers I don't know where they would get them regardless of how good they paid.

The guy who has too much pride to take a lower paying job because is a fool to me. Nothing is permanent. I work two jobs because I never know how one of my jobs is going to go. Never been laid off but I've always had something to help soften the blow if I were to get furloughed.
