B & S E1750 newer engine acts as if it is running out of gas. Will run fine then dies off then catches and runs happens every 30 seconds or so.
I have put new gas in it, replaced the fuel filter, and put on a new carburetor.
Any ideas?

Sounds like water in the gas to me. Pull the hose AT the carb inlet. Drain into a glass jar. Look for water in the bottom.

Use E-0 gas if possible.

Put all the stock parts back on. Keep the credit card in your wallet. Fix what you have. OEM parts are better than anything off Scamazon or Fleabay.

Is the fuel tank spotless like a new one? As in zero trash in the bottom and outlet port?

Does this have an after-fire carb solenoid?

It looks a lot like a tank ventilation problem, try opening the cap slightly to see if that changes anything. I've had the same problem before and it was just that it cut off the gas supply.

He likely had water and/ or trash in the "new" fuel in the antique gas can that has been sitting in the shed open most of its life. It happens more than people will admit.

No one ever looks in a gas can before filling it to see all the water and trash that has collected over time. they just keep refilling the stupid things and wonder why they have problems.

I have caught that problem several times in my gas cans only to stop and drive back to the shop & flush them out good before going back later to get fuel.

So true.

That is why I used to preach about getting a new style EPA nozzle for your can. Those new spring loaded pain in the buttocks nozzles help keep the trash and water out.
