6000 ZT Lift actuator

I'm getting a little over 12v to the electric motor on the actuator, but it's not making a sound. No clicking, Nothing. So, I'm guessing the actuator motor is bad.

Looks like he's whacked on this thing plenty of times. He says that how he get it unjammed.

Upon further inspection, i'm thinking all it's going to need is a little emery cloth and a new spring for the brushes. One side had quite a bit of corrosion around that area and ate that spring into a bunch of pieces. The other side ain't bad.
The top spring, that little piece, is all that's left, except for a smaller piece that fell and disappeared.
