Engine 6.0 h.p. B/S pressure washer, no choke, no throttle, running high rpm.

Pressure washer was running normal, speed being controlled by governor, then all of sudden engine goes to high rpm, like it is running without governor control. I removed covers, and checked all springs attached to the carb. and governor, everything is connected and moves freely. Any comments?

Take the air filter off and look in the carb.
At the flap in the back. Sometimes the little screws fall out. If you move the governor back and forth that flap should move.

Did what you suggested, all looks good, flap moves, no loose or missing screws.
