Not that i'll ever get to start on it,but i've wanted to do a wild blown 4x4 mower.
I have went so far as to collect most of the needed parts though.
My plan is to use an old 4 wheel steer mower i've got.
They can be hard to find,but a buddy came across one for me about 5yrs ago.
Same buddy gave me the smog pump I intend to use for either a supercharger or to drive a small turbocharger i've got.
Anyway,4 wheel steer mower has a transaxle in rear that utilizes a cv joint type setup.
Pulley is on top.
I figure i'll use a combination of lower engine mounting along with a jackshaft to drive both the standard rear transaxle and the front mounted 4 wheel steer axle.
Gearing them could be done with using appropriate ratio pulleys.
The only actual building has been in my head,though I did mock one up at one time.
This was pre 4wheel steer transaxle,and I got as far as a 12" lift and didn't know about mowers or have a good welder so it was shelved and eventually mostly scrapped.
Post up if you build one,I would love to see it.
