This is a 22" Toro 20333 rear wheel drive personal pace recycler. The BBC belt broke. When I took it apart I found this mangled part that looks like it was a flat washer. I don't see anything like it in the parts diagram. The diagram shows a different part (#20 in the diagram). I ordered the different part but it won't arrive until Thursday. I still put it back together anyway to catch up on some jobs. The problem I'm having is that the brake still seems to be on when I have the bail closed. All those parts got very hot and the blade stopped. I haven't been able to get it adjusted right. Is the bolt with the arrow supposed to be a little loose because the brake assembly pivots on it? I loosened the cable in the circled area enough to keep from snapping the plastic sleeve in the handle but it still isn't correct. Any tips to get me going again are appreciated.
