Hello,

I have a 22hp Briggs 44r677 0019G1 1509184G engine.

This engine runs. Is very slightly sluggish when engage the PTO but once engage seems very powerful. Has 140 PSI compression and spark on both cylinders. If I remove right spark plug wire (right side sitting on machine) the tractor stays running. If I remove the left spark plug wire it dies. (yes I reconnected the right side)

I noticed when I took the right side plug out it looked new with no visible combustion residue...the left side showed usage.

I pulled off the valve cover on the right side an all seems fine there. Valve clearance is at .005 on both valve.

Thoughts????

Your right cylinder is no working. Either you are getting no spark or No fuel, (was the plug wet?)
