Hello all, I needed a new 42" mower deck shell for my 1996 2150. My Cub dealer said the s/n break for my LT says no longer available. Anyone know if the deck that is available for later models of the 2150 can be modified to fit my older model LT?

Because of the the quick release set up you can fit almost any deck.
I have done this before with some success on an old deck that was inherited with the stock.
The rear mount will unbolt and then just weld on the front mount.
I had to put a spacer on one side and of course nothing mnow days is any where near as robust as the spindles on theose 2100 series decks.
Try and keep the ratio of pulley diameter to blade length the same as the original deck which will keep the blade speeds roughly right.
