2018 3038 wont read neutral.

was running my tractor and stopped it to get a water. when I got back on the dash wont read that it is in neutral. I can get it started

this has a digital dash. When you turn the key it reads shift to neutral to start

If it is a 3038 compact tractor i think the neutral switch screws into the side if the transmission. Looks loke an oil pressure switch but is a mechanical switch.
