2015 x540 Pto wont start

So the other day i went to start my mower and the battery was dead. I used a jump pack on it and it started. Later did i learn i should had not done that. Well i mowed for about 20 min then then mower just completely did. I pushed it to my garage. Started out by replaced battery. Then it would crank but no spark. So i cleaned the flywheel. Replaced the plugs. And still nothing. So i hopped on amazon and ordered a ecm from what i could see from a posting and member had issues with this. I got the ecm and installed and mower fired right away. Now just no pto. Checked the switch. Havent gotten under the mower to check pto yet. My question could the ecm be controlling the pto? Thanks I checked the blue wire at the light bulb plug and tested it at the connector that is just under the dash panel going to the bottom of the mower and i have no voltage.

When you post a help request, please provide the product label information number and the engine label information. This information is vital for anyone to be able to help you. John Deere (and other companies) is famous for having constant design changes during production. An early production unit may be wired entirely different than a final production unit.

If you plan to keep this, invest in the correct JD technical manual TM (printed or downloadable) for this machine and quit surfing around for quick fixes.

I learned this early (many years ago) with every piece of equipment I own.

People love to tell you how to spend your money on stupid guesses. Invest in knowledge.

First impression is that a safety switch is not latching properly.

To confirm the PTO works, disconnect it and run power directly to it and listen for the clutch to click on and power is applied and removed. Electric clutches seldom fail, but they do.
