I bought it last July ,It will not crank unless you charge the battery and after you use it 3 or 4 times the mower will not crank unless you charge it again.

In my professional opinion I would say you either have a bad voltage regulator/rectifier or bad alternator. Either way go see your dealer. Being that new it should be a warranty repair.
 
There is a repair bulletin on charging stator.... I read it today by coincidence . If you don't want to tear the top of the motor off , switch to a trickle charge or VW solar panel hooked up to a cig plug connected to your battery .
