19E412 Fuel Pump Location

Can you not rigidly mount it to something? Better than swinging in air. That will get bounced around like mad. Might even punch a hole in it and start a fire. Run longer fuel lines?
 
I route the pulse hose upwards before going to the pump barb. If oil eventually collects inside the hose the pump will quit pumping gas.

Excellent suggestion... I will try to elevate the fuel pump and rotate so the pulse inlet barb is pointed downward so no oil gets entrapped in the diaphragm .....

Just a hint of what can happen sometimes.
Main thing is the pulse hose needs to go up as it leaves the pulse port on the engine then the pump can be lower. Sometimes only a slight amount upward is needed. A immediate droop is not a good thing.
Sometimes just takes a longer pulse hose to get er dun and the pump can then be mounted lower as desired. (oil blockage inside the hose stops the pulses from reaching the diaphragm)
A head scratcher when it happens and appears to be a bad pump. Sometimes several hours on the engine before it quits pumping.
