028 Super leftover screw

I replaced gas and impulse hose on my 028, removed the handle (4 screws) + top and side antivibe screws (learned later this was useless lol) but when finished I had a black screw left over that screws into plastic,,,I have looked everywhere and am puzzled,,anybody know where the black screws goes in an 028? The 3 anti vibe screws are bright, the handle screws are black.

go through what you did and look at the parts.
most of them have sizes & threads so it should not be hard to work out which one you missed

Hey many THANKS
After studying the diagram it dawned on me that a screw came out of the antivibe so the gap would spread apart to get the impulse hose off/on edit; this saw is 35 + years old,seen a LOT of use and this is the first time i've had to do anything to it except chain/bar/change

Glad to hear you got it sorted.
Don't go telling people that a quality Stihl saw will run for a long time with only proper maintenance.
All the HF shoppers here know they are overpriced rip offs :laughing:
