025 C chainsaw - unclipped terminal

I opened the back cover of my Stihl 025 chainsaw. There is a terminal connector that is unattached. It doesn't start so this may be the cause. I have included a photo. Where should this wire be connected?

Right above the terminal you are talking about is a little thumb looking thing. the terminal slides in there. with that disconnected like it is the saw should still start, but you won't be able to shut if off.

Yep, Like ILENGINE said... That is the kill wire goes to the kill switch, If it was touching the metal frame on the engine it will likely not start... :smile:KennyV

Looking at the photo I agree with the last 2 posts that this will not affect the starting. There is a lot of sawdust in the airbox area
so I would start with checking the carburetor for dirt intake causing your no start condition.
